What is private molding?

Private molding refers to the customization of molds used in manufacturing packaging, including bottles, containers, jars, or other packaging components.

When a company needs a unique packaging design not readily available in the market, they can create a custom mold tailored to their specific requirements in terms of shape, size, texture, and branding elements.

Having a private mold grants a company exclusive rights to use that particular design, which can be advantageous for branding, distinguishing from competitors, and maintaining a consistent product appearance.

However, creating a private mold typically involves higher upfront costs compared to using standardized molds, but it can offer long-term benefits in terms of brand identity and product differentiation.
